What does it mean to be a member of
the Break Free From Plastic movement?

You support the vision and abide by the principles of the movement.

You are invited to join BFFP campaigns/activities and can also start your own under the BFFP banner.*

You’ll receive the latest plastics-related news and updates through the BFFP newsletter, member reports, and more.

What are the different membership types?

Core Members

This membership type is exclusively for not-for-profit organizations. These organizations are the driving force behind the movement, developing and executing BFFP’s overall strategy.

Associate Members

Signing up on the BFFP website makes your organization an associate member. You’ll receive regular communications, as well as various forms of support from BFFP.

Individual Supporters

Individual supporters are those who’ve signed up on the BFFP website as an individual and are not affiliated with any organization. You will receive regular communications and support from BFFP.

The first step to joining the Break Free From Plastic movement is to sign up as either an associate member or individual supporter on the main website. You may only apply for or be offered core membership after more active involvement in the movement.
