Learn About The Plastics Treaty ➝
Protect our planet! Last chance to join the call for a strong Plastics Treaty. SIGN THE PETITION NOW.
2025 4th August | 16:00
Place des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland
From August 5 - 14, governments from around the world will gather in Geneva to negotiate a historic global treaty to end plastic pollution. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to confront the plastic crisis at its source.
But powerful fossil fuel and petrochemical companies are lobbying hard to weaken the treaty. Why? Because plastic is made from oil, and their profits depend on keeping plastic production high.
Our health, our climate, and our planet are not for sale.
That’s why we’re calling for a bold, legally binding treaty that slashes global plastic production by at least 75% by 2040.
Join the civil society mobilisation and support this call.
We will meet on 4 August at 4 pm at the Place des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland
