NO ROOM FOR MORE!

This August: A Crucial Chance to End the Age of Plastic

From August 5 - 14, governments from around the world will gather in Geneva to negotiate a historic global treaty to end plastic pollution. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to confront the plastic crisis at its source.

But powerful fossil fuel and petrochemical companies are lobbying hard to weaken the treaty. Why? Because plastic is made from oil, and their profits depend on keeping plastic production high.

Our health, our climate, and our planet are not for sale.

That’s why we’re calling for a bold, legally binding treaty that slashes global plastic production by at least 75% by 2040

Plastics Treaty talks are over. 11 grueling days of delays, distractions & gaslighting, and we are leaving Geneva ...without a treaty. But hope for an ambitious #PlasticsTreaty lives on.
📽️ More from @delphinelevialv + @Davzoul
