As part of the tenth anniversary of Break Free From Plastic, the experience of Fundación El Árbol demonstrates how global change begins in communities. From southern Chile, the organization has championed the recognition of grassroots waste pickers, promoted zero-waste models, and built alliances that today fuel a global movement against plastic pollution.
