South Asia Network Organizer
Sharad Jha is the South Asia Network Organizer for BFFP and provides leadership and coordination for plastics-related initiatives in the South Asia region. He works with BFFP members and partners in South Asian countries to develop a shared critical analysis of plastic and waste issues and to build a holistic framework to promote solutions and reduce plastic production, pollution, usage and dumping in the region.
Before joining BFFP he worked as Senior Program Manager with the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organizations (FIAPO), New Delhi, India’s leading animal protection body. He has experience of more than a decade in the implementation and management of social development projects on wildlife conservation, animal welfare, health and livelihood.
He holds an MBA in Rural Management from Xavier’s Institute of Social Service (Ranchi). He has an academic background in Anthropology.
