Gabrielle Cabodil is the Operations Manager of the Break Free From Plastic Movement. She’s responsible for managing the movement’s platforms, such as the website, core member’s portal,
and discussion lists. She oversees and develops BFFP’s systems for internal processes and communication efforts, ensuring the efficient tracking and effective implementation of BFFP’s projects and initiatives.
Prior to working with the movement, Gabrielle has helped different organizations in enacting their advocacies through communication and organizational development. She was part of
Metro Manila Pride from 2016 to 2019 (the task force that organizes the Pride March and Festival in Manila) as Content Creation Head, and she partnered with different NGOs of varying
sectors in exploring and improving their organizational and communication processes. One of these organizations was the Humanitarian Leadership Academy, where she was immersed in
disaster risk reduction and was then brought closer to the advocacy of environmental science. Gabrielle holds a degree in Organizational Communication from De La Salle University (Manila,
Philippines) and an Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) certification from Disaster Recovery Institute International (New York, USA).
