She is currently an elected official who chairs the Environment Committee of Barangay Potrero, Malabon City in the Philippines, a community of more than 45,000 people.

Through the help of #breakfreefromplastic member Mother Earth Foundation Philippines, Potrero has been a Zero Waste Community since 2015. She believes that Zero Waste is the future and to help create a world free of plastic, she now focuses on marketing Eco-friendly & Zero Waste products to make their way to every home.
