The #breakfreefromplastic movement is looking for consultants to work with to help us get to know our audiences better! We want to have a global view, but for now, we are focusing on three key regions. If you are an individual or a firm who has the capacity, resources, and expertise to help us with our audience research, please see our request for proposals below!
The Break Free From Plastic (BFFP) Global Communications Lead is responsible for the co-creation and implementation of key communications strategies to achieve a global strategy to fight plastic pollution – with others in Break Free From Plastic. The Communications Hub Lead also manages the Communications Hub (Comms Hub), acting as lead for the team coordination, all aspects of the grant management (proposal drafting, reporting and budget management) and is responsible for building alliances and communications between regions, providing communications implementation support according to global communications priorities.
BFFP is looking for a strong, collaborative and committed communications professional who wants to use their exceptional skills to challenge the narrative around plastic pollution. In this dynamic role, no day will be the same – one day you will be co-designing communications strategies, the next working to build the capacity of BFFP movement members, the next responding to media requests on plastic pollution.
The Break Free From Plastic (BFFP) movement in the United States is seeking a highly qualified candidate to design and conduct message testing in order to measure the impact of key themes and issues that are linked to the movement’s strategies, on a short-term contract basis.
The South Asia Network Organizer will provide leadership and coordination for plastics-related initiatives in the South Asia region. As the SA organizer, you will implement and oversee programs and campaigns in the SA region and coordinate the SA network for Break Free from Plastic. You will provide support and services to plastics-related initiatives (including Zero Waste and incineration) of members and partners in South Asia, ensure that these initiatives are highlighted beyond the region, and that they contribute to larger plastic reduction goals globally.
